Created on canvas – a rarer surface for alcohol ink, allowing the pigments to build deeper layers and a more textured visual structure.
This piece unfolds like an organic landscape of flowing forms and delicate branching lines. Fine white linework travels through the composition like roots or veins, weaving together layers of deep greens, earthy browns, muted olives and soft burgundy tones.
The layered color palette and intricate lines create a balance between strength and delicacy.
Because of the canvas surface, the artwork carries a slightly different character than works on synthetic paper — the pigments settle into the texture, creating a softer, more atmospheric finish.
The piece is sealed with multiple layers of varnish and UV-protection. As with all alcohol ink artworks, it should be displayed away from prolonged direct sunlight.
